From 22 until 29 June 2025, the 25th ITF Youth Tournament, known as the HEAD Cup since 2007, will take place at TC Bruchköbel. We are happy to be able to celebrate this anniversary and are proud that we have been able to host the tournament every year. The logo shown will refer to this event all year round.
3,504 juniors from 86 countries played on the TCB courts. Among them are now well-known names such as Kevin Krawietz, current ATP double world champion and number 5 in the doubles world rankings, as a singles’ finalist in 2008, and in 2009 the later Olympic and Grand Slam series winner Barbora Krejčíková at her third ITF Juniors tournament. Marin Cilic, Anna-Lena Friedsam, Julia Görges, Andrea Hlavackova, Eva Lys, Jule Niemeier, Casper Ruud, Stefanos Tsitsipas, and many others have already been to our tennis facility.
Continuity in the management circle characterizes the tournament. Sven Kurandt was still the tournament match organizer at the predecessor tournament and has been involved since 2001, the first ITF youth tournament. Klaus Piotrowski, who founded the first Bruchköbel youth tournament in 1983 and successfully built it up to the ITF youth tournament in 2001, was active as Tournament Director for 25 years. Since 2007, Tournament Director Martin Fetzer has been responsible for the “Best International Youth Tournament 2022”. Started in the entry-level category, the tournament is now in the middle range of the ITF WorldTennisTour Juniors as a J100.
